Today we’re embarking on an exhilarating journey—descending from the pinnacle of Montseny, Catalonia’s highest massif, all the way down to the charming city of Sant Celoni.

Exploring Montseny: A Natural Marvel

The Montseny massif stands proudly, boasting the loftiest peaks south of the Pyrenees and commanding the southern plains of Girona. Our cycling odyssey begins at the summit of Turó de L’Home, towering at an elevation of 1700m. Over the course of 30 kilometers, we’ll wind our way down the mountain, navigating tight switchbacks that offer awe-inspiring views of the valley and even glimpses of the coastline.

The Descent: A Cyclist’s Dream

As we descend, the thrill of the ride is amplified by the natural beauty surrounding us. The Montseny region is a haven for cycling enthusiasts, with its well-maintained roads and challenging terrains. Each twist and turn presents a new visual delight, from lush forests to picturesque landscapes. The descent down this natural rollercoaster promises an unforgettable adventure for any cyclist.

A Journey to Remember

Our descent culminates in Sant Celoni, nestled at an elevation of 200m. Here, the tranquil ambiance welcomes us as the sun sets on a scorching summer day. To complete our excursion, we’ll catch a train back to Barcelona, reflecting on the memories made and the beauty witnessed.
